Somehow, the initial reaction that I had when I first saw a glimpse of the video while surfing channels was not a very encouraging one.

The singer resembled one of those ''Balle Balle Boys''(yes! I'm talking about that surd duo who sank without a trace after their spiderman act in ''bape karade ishq'').....but on a friend's reccommendation I did find time to sit and hear the song and was it mindblowing!!! Rabbi the singer is not like any other ''punjabi munda'' out to sing a bhangra number whose videos flash on various punjabi channels. He is here for serious business and that is giving his listeners good and classy music.

This song doesn't fit in any genre of music that can be usually heard on music channels. His music is based on punjabi poetry with music composed on the basis of classic rock. The combo definetely is music you would love sinking into. Its deep, meaningful, soulful........its incredible. The guitar gives a beautiful mood to the song...The lyrics, too, are very inspiring and make you think about man's existant in this big, bad world.

The poetry is by Bulla Shah and initially it may sound quite like sufi shayari.....but its marvellous. The video, too, is nice and for majority who cannot understand the language, translation in english flashes all along in it.

Rabbi was earlier offered to sing ''Allah ke Bande'' but thingz didn't work out and he debuted on the music charts with ''bulla ki jaana main kaun''. Alls well that ends well....He has come and is here to stay.Do you want me to elaborate further.....the song's worth listening.....and it doesn't end there.....you hear it once and you feel like listening to it again and again and again.....so immediately catch hold of that remote and sit glued to the idiot box....don't miss it.
