Britney Spears appeared in the charts in March 1999 in the UK. ''Baby one more time'' was her first album out and since then she has released another album and has plans for another. From this album she released 4 songs into the charts and they all reached high postions.
There are 12 tracks on the album and I will describe them to you. Also the album has the ''Baby one more time'' video on it.
Baby one more time - this was the first song that came out. All the music on this album are either ballads or dancy pop music. This song is a good pop song with a good beat to it.
(You drive me) Crazy - this is also a typical pop song with a good beat to it. This one done well in the charts. There are 2 versions to this song, but both are the same apart from about 20 seconds in the middle of one of them. This is one of my favourites.
Sometimes - this was released into the charts. It is a slow song. I don't like this song much as it is quite boring and doesn't seem to go anywhere.
Soda pop - This song is alright. It has a beat to it and there is some kind of rapping throughout the song. I can oly listen to this track now and again as it could be boring.
Born to make you happy - this is another one of my favourites. It is slow, but easy listening and has good https://lyrics. I think this song reached number 3 in the charts when it was released.
From the bottom of my broken heart - this is a ballad, and a bad one in my view. This song lasts 5 minutes 11 seconds and is boring for that lenght of time.
I will be there - this song is quite slow, but also has a beat to it. It is a good song and one that I can listen to often.
I will still love you - another ballad which is a duet with Don Phillip. He launched a career over here after this song, but didn't do very well. This song sounds alright as a duet, but if it was a solo, then I doubt it would be any good.
Deep in my heart - an upbeat kind of song. This song has catchy lyrics and good sounding background.
Thinkin' about you - this song isn't very good in my opinion. The words seem stupid and the beats don't seem to sound right for the song.
E-mail my heart - a very slow ballad. I can't stand this song as Britney's voice sounds different and it is so slow.
The beat goes on - this song is a cover of a song that was out before. It is good as it has a heavy back beat and the voice goes well in the song.
So that's the whole album. It was worth buying for me as the songs I like would have cost more than the £12.99 that I paid for the album to buy separate. Also I found some good new songs along the way.
