My ready to eat comfort food and helps a lot to reduce hyper acidity and to calm those hunger pangs when ever.Indeed a premium product from Britannia Industries Ltd. so fresh and so crunchy.
Well baked to perfection.Made with refined wheatflour, salt, sugar and sooji.Has a shelf life of 4 months-much longer than fresh bread so I am at ease to always stock a little extra.
Early morning I eat a few slices of plain Britannia rusk before actual breakfast. The dry-crispy rusk easily absorbs all the hydrochloric acid accumulated in the stomach and gives such a great soothing effect to the tummy.The whole family loves it.
It also can be served as a snack or at Tea time and keeps you very full.It is enjoyed by all and also serves as an emergency food-no cooking what so ever is required.
The quality and pricing are just right.Has a very pleasant Elaichi flavour in every bite.Easily available in all kirana stores.
Comes in two sized packs. The larger 300 grams pack costs Rs.40/- and the smaller pack costs Rs.27/-.
Even inspite of the company changing to a better, thicker wrapper, still some pieces of rusk tend to break, leaving lots of crumbs at the bottom of the pack.
We would also be very glad if sugar-free packs were also available.
