This place is near the brigade road - MG road junction, just before the cauvery emporium. This hotel serves good pure-veg tamil-style food. This is the only place I know where they serve good tamilnadu style parota (paratha). The mini-idli with ghee is of first class. The dosas are also good. I enjoyed the fresh mango juice very much.
They serve only meals during lunch time. The soooft chapathis they serve here is of outstanding quality. I usually end up eating only the chapathis. Otherwise, the meals is quite ordinary.
It may sound trivial, but I am yet to taste a better tasting milk (yes, just a plain cup of milk) in any other hotel. They give typical south indian filer coffee as well. Another speciality is that you get the real onion dosa here. Most of the hotels in karnataka serve onion oothappam and call it onion dosa. But here you can get genuine tamilnadu style onion dosa, which is of very good taste. This is a great place for vegetarian south indians. Not sure whether northerners will like it as much.
The menu has only south indian items. Not sure they added more recently (3-4 months). The serving time is quite fast (3-8 minutes), like all other south hotels.
