His brilliance takes on a poignancy because his mind occupies a body which has been wasting away for years with ALS, a disease that has left him incapable of speech or movement - except of a few fingers with which he uses a computer to communicate with the world. His voice, heard throughout the film, is synthesize and This book is about physics, or the study of laws that predict how things work in the universe. It is also about cosmology, or how we see the universe and how the universe exists.This book will get a wide reading. It's my conviction that people in the church must be prepared to interact with the people of the world about cosmological issues. "The people whose business it is to ask why, the philosophers, have not been able to keep up with the advance of scientific theories." Neither have the evangelists. But those who have scientific people in their congregations, or want to, need to be ready to speak their language.i think this is the best book written by hawking in his lifetime which differentiate b/w religion and science
