Brida, compiled and researched by Paulo when he was on the pilgrimage is based on the true story of an Irish woman. The novel is about meeting one's Soulmate - and realizing that soulmates are meant to learn their life lessons separately until their very last incarnation. The main context of the book however is the Wiccan tradition, beautifully illustrated by Paulo in his signatory intimate & flowing style and yet retaining the facts of the tradition.
What makes Brida a gripping read, is the atmosphere it creates - drawing you into magic and self discovery. The book has some incredible philosophies and lines for instance - of love, of confusion.A must-read for anyone interested in the ancient Wicca traditions that are still practiced elaborately around the world.
