During my first 4 years of service, I switched 5 jobs for some or the other reason before joining BrickRed in Jan 2007. I heard lot of pros and cons about BrickRed from my friends. My negative apprehensions about BrickRed were getting strengthened when my technical interview got cancelled twice.
However finally my technical discussions happened and I was impressed with the technology knowledge of the interviewers. I picked up the offer from BrickRed at the same cost at which I was working in my current organization. It is not that I had any compulsion but, I wanted to work with BrickRed at any cost. In a span of my 3 years with BrickRed, I grew nearly 100% based on my outstanding performance with 2 promotions.
Upon joining BrickRed my first impression was awesome, the way I was greeted at reception and then I was sailed thru all HR policies, procedures and then a facility tour along with a buddy who hand held me. Within first week of my joining - there were Republic Day Celebrations with Bay Villa and Intaksharee Competition followed by Prize distribution and at-least one employee from each project team was awarded with Star Performers for the quarter.
I initially thought it was one time sort function, but then during my induction I had a chance to look at the company’s event and Arbit calendar which reflected such event were planned every month. The best part is that the event calendar is religiously adhered to and I decided to participate in the planned events and every time I won some or the other prize in all the events at BrickRed and thrice I have been awarded Star Performer of the Quarter. You know I am still connected to my buddy and last month when I was exploring how to request BrickRed to re-employ me, I got connected to Prateek and he did everything for me, including making Kapil sir and Manorama to speak with me and releasing the offer.
BrickRed is all together different - Best in class experience and none to its proximity - forget about comparisions. Shilpa Dua
