Story:

It's a story about three judges who are in a minimum security prison scamming people through the mail by pretending to be a young and handsome gay and then later on blackmailing them with threats to reveal their secret lives. Things seem to pick up when the next Prez of USA is on their mailing list.

The plot looks good and the story promises a lot. But it looks like John Grisham's creative juices are drying up. I'll tell you why:-

01) A slightly ludicrous story - 3 guys from inside a prison managing to get hundreds of thousand of dollars and doing this dealing with a most time drunk lawyer.

02) Who heard of minimum security prisons you could walk away from?

03) A congressman or a senator being stupid enough to answer a box ad.

04) The CIA choosing any one congressman and taking him the long route to becoming the President - the hard way done easily.

05) Prison guards, prison wardens and many other officials who can't turn their heads to the right side.

Well, the ending has no surprises, nor is the writing style crisp. At times, you just can't wait to get over it.

Happy reading - John Grisham fans - if you truly are.
