Well it is a motivational story indeed, but the duration was quite long wic makes audiences wearisome. in nutshell the script is based on the revolution ignited by the Scott warrior and a true patriot William Wallace( Mel Gibson) who fought for FREEDOM of Scotland which was captured by the Ruthless king of England Edward - the Longshanks, as King of the Scotland died without any kin to bring the territory forward. The spark of revolution expanded when the troops of longshanks caught william wife and killed her. it irked him and he built a huge army with his amazing leadership skills. and he got support frm few other allies but later he discovered that the longshanks bought their loyalty them for few territories, so they betrayed wallace in the battlefield.
gradually, wallace becomes the hero in the eyes of scottish people. but he got trapped and got death sentences as to defy the kings rules. one of the memorable scene of this movie is when the exterminator asked wallace to beg for mercy so as to get a a peaceful death, in front of the thousands of people, ironically he gathers his whole strength and yelped his last word "FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDOM". it made me realize that how beautiful title was given to ths movie..
this movie tells that the art of leadorship is not in built but it can be acquired. second, there should be a clear picture of the goal in ones mind with a will, confidence and the verve to achieve it.
