When we purchase a branded computer it has all it's parameters fixed by the experts working for that particular brand. You get ready made and perfect combination of different computer components pre-fixed. There are many big brands like Apple, Acer MSI, Lenovo, etc. which provide the facility of branded computers. But, it also has got it's own dark side. It is very expensive as compared to assembled ones.
On the other hand, assembled computers are good for those who have a sound knowledge of computer themselves. Definitely, assembled computers are cost effective but one must know which part to arrange with what combination, as because, if one part is even fixed with wrong combo then it may prove fatal. Like, if a person puts a 6 GB NVIDIA GTX 980 Graphics card with a dual core processor, then it may bottleneck the processor. So, keeping proper parts combination is the only key for assembled computers.
