In today's era of Information Technology , the essence of knowledge and technology has grown to new heights and proven that consumers look to derive'maximum value' while investing in the computer harware solutions. However, there has been lot of turbulences and agitation in the Indian IT market.whether it is purchasing of PC or laptop or Windows OS or printer or other peripherals.
Now-a-days, the end user(may be a teenager or a business man or a working woman or a housewife or a financial/ marketing /IT executives) wants to have access to PC or Laptop for seeking information or for communication or for entertainment.
The dilemma arises when the user is a bit perplexed between TWO things.
One: Buying a branded PC/Laptop.
Two: Buying an assembled PC/Laptop.
I believe quality and price of the product should be good, in such a way that the consumer is not cheated and benefits the most from the value of the product.
Any branded PC seller does not makes all the components of PC or Laptop by itself. What they do actually is, the branded PC company buys the small components from third party in bulk, and then they assemble it according to standard configurations.
After the product is ready, the company puts its logo or label on the product showing that all the components are made by themselves.
However, the components of Branded PCs are thoroughly tested, that means you get good quality product for reasonable price.
Custom built computers are generally available from local businesses as well as by mail order, and are assembled individually from components of standard design generally available on the open market. Buyers can select the details of the configuration desired,as well as choose amongst several brands and models of accessories to suit their needs, so that they must be somewhat knowledgeable unless they are willing to rely on the advice of the builder.
If desired, a buyer can purchase a computer of minimal configuration to start with, and then upgrade it over time as their needs and finances allow, as custom built computers are generally designed to permit and facilitate upgrading as the technology advances over time. Custom built computers may include some software, but generally the buyer purchases the software desired to be installed in it separately. Technical support and service is usually available directly from the builder, and is often conducted on a more personal level than with the larger businesses.
