Ok, i'm back after a break of a couple of days, thought you guys would get a bad headache after reading a sudden rush of adrenalinal moronic reviews:> baah, enough of the jokes, coming back to the topic .

Branded vs Assembled

Whoa! First of all, this is an awesome question!

Branded

Pc's made by branded companies: eg. Compaq, Hewlett etc. What the people do is simply manufacture their own computer parts and make a brand new computer. Well, that is why, the computer is called as  a Branded PC i.e made by a well known infrastructural industry  .

Assembled

Assembled pcs are made by engineers working for dealers . For example, my computer is assembled . My dealers's name is Amrik Computers. Well, what these people do, is simply buy computer parts, assemble them and make a well configured PC . Well, this assimilation of the various parts makes up an Assembled PC .

In a Branded PC, all the parts are made by the same company, even though the company might not be famous for manufacturing a part of the PC . Eg. The Hewlett Packard company is primarily famous for manufacturing deskjet printers. However, the computer branded by H.P will have monitors, CPU s  etc etc. also manufactured by the same company. Hence, the customer isn't sure of getting the best out of the remainnig parts.

However, in an Assembled PC, the various parts are bought from famous companies for best configuration and compilation. Eg . An Assembled PC will have A Samsung monitor, a Cannon printer etc etc. Hence, the cutomer will be guarenteed 100% satisfaction.

The question arises, what if something conks of in my PC . Whom should I call. Even here, there are advantages and disadvantages.

A Branded PC, if it conks off, the complaint has to be resgistered in the company first . Then, after a few light years, the complaint will be taken into consideration and then an engineer will  be sent and he charges a fortune just to have a stupid glance at the computer. Then, ure pc will be taken all the way to the company, and you wonder in amazement, when the hell ure gonna get back your beloved PC .

Whereas in a an assembled Pc, all you have to do is call up your dealer, and he will do it before you can even blink your eyes, and say' well the problem is .' da da da da da da

The cost factor also comes into play . Branded PC's will cost you a fortune. Assembled PCs are nearly half as much as the branded Pc's, plus you get your own configurations!

One more point, the advantage of selection is absent in branded pc's. For example, you want a pc with a 55V monitor, you might get it only along with a samsung Cdrom and a slower PC . But if you want a faster PC you wont get a 55V Monitor.

But hey, in an assembled computer you can choose ure monitor, ure speed, yourRAM, your keyboard,  blah blah blah blah . because the items are brought directly from the market.

One major factor, i.e Reliability tilts at a slight angle towards the Branded Pc's . However, if you have a good relation with the dealer, you are sure to get a very well configurated, a very well compiled, a very well manufactured PC .

One more advantage that Branded PCs have is that they give a guarentee for the various parts. However, you might not get that in an assembled PC .

Well, I definately give a thumbs up to Assembled PCs

So, the verdict is out, pay your money for parts what you want!

Branded PCs, your times up!
