I visited this place during my visit to Ajmer last year when I went for my RRB exam. I took the bus from Ajmer bus stand. It is about 30 to 40 km away from the city. It crosses the Aravali hill to reach Pushkar. The temple is alongside of great Pushkar lake. The deity has 5 faces . He holds a Kamandalu and this is the only sole temple of Lord Brahma all over the world.
The environment and natural beauty is awesome. I feel very fresh after visiting the place. Not only hindu but many foreigners also come there to visit the place.
There is market although somewhat congusted but there are no of eating items you have to taste it. This shows rich culture of Rajasthan. There is ground where pushkar fair for selling and purchasing of animals organized. The desertic view was fabulous. There are many cheap hotels available for staying.
I recommend you to visit the place because as it says the temple was built by Lord Brahma. Its a holy place. But whenever you go for it then avoid summer.
