I saw the Borne Supremacy when it was released by Universal Studios in July of 2004. This movie was made from a book that was written by Robert Ludlum.

This film begins where the Borne Identity left off.

The Stars

Matt Damon plays Jason Borne.

Brian Cox plays Joan Allen.

Julia Stiles plays Karl Urban.

John Lloyd plays Michelle Monghan.

Tim Griffin plays Marton Csokas.

Tomas Aran plays Gabriel Mann.

Tom Gallop plays Karon Roden.

My Review

The movie begins in India, where Jason Borne,(a CIA assassin), starts to come out of his amnesia. He remembers he was framed for a murder in Berlin.

Someone tries to assassinate Borne and also try to frame him for the murdering two CIA Agents and Marie. This sets off a chain reaction.

The CIA decides he is of no value to them and send CIA handlers, to eliminate him. The leader is Joan Allen and her team is Brian Cox and Julia Stiles.

The plot involves a Russian oil magnate. The movie goes from India to Berlin, Moscow, and Italy.

What I Thought

The best parts that there was a strong woman's part, & the car chase, the fight scenes and the way that the members of the CIA try to get ahead of each other, by telling lies and setting them up.

I liked the fact that there wasn't a lot of violence or drinking in the film.

The actors played their parts well, but the plot was very thin.

The costumes were great. I want a black matrix styled coat! The music was fabulous.

I thought the plot was ruined by bad editing, because it seemed choppy. I found that the cinematographer, kept shaking his camera, and that distracted me.

After the movie I thought about a film that Robert Redford stared in, (Three Days Of The Condor), and I think this movie resembled it, quite a lot.

Some Quotes

Julia is explaining how the Treadstone Mob works, ''The don't make mistakes, they don't do random acts, so try a become a ghost when they are around.''

When Julia is asked who is giving Bourne his targets, she answers, ''He is! Scary isn't it?''

The Score

Goa, Drop, Funeral Pyre, Gathering Data, Nach Deutschland, To the Roof, New Memories, Berlin Foot Chase, Abbotts Confesses, Moscow Wind Up, Bim Bam Smash, Atonement and Extreme Ways.
