Myself Chaitali and today I am going to discuss about my personal experience regarding the shoe brand which is called " BOSTONIAN ", which I purchased around three months ago. A formal shoe it was by BOSTONIAN.
First things first, The looks of the shoes are very simple and ordinary. I purchased a formal shoe worth 2, 799 rupees but the look of the shoe is like an old shoe, No design, No fancy stitch work is done, The leather quality is very bad, It get wrinkled very quickly. The sole quality is not very hard, it is very soft and can break if you bend it a little more. So the over all looks and the quality of the product is very very bad. And the leather quality is very bad as well as the finishing is very bad. The air ventilation is not present in the shoe body, So it sweats a lot. And is not at all proper fitting to your foot, the sizes are bit short and they have very selective sizes. I found only one 10 number shoe in the entire shoe shop. so its difficult to choice one good shoe from a very small collection. They don't have a very big collection. And shops/show rooms are very small in size.
Now the second most impotent thing, the weight of the shoe is very heavy, it weights around 550 gms for each shoe. So you cant walk fast and it tends to get loose every time you walk fast. The shoe ropes are very small and you cant even tighten then shoes because of this. The shoe need to be light as the sole of the shoe is very heavy its less comfortable. And you can have knee problems. The hill of the shoe is not very good. Its very hard and your foot can get hurt a lot. They only made formal shoes so the variety is not their. And you cant use their shoes for casual purpose. And the investment is very high.
The durability of the shoe quality is very less, as I used the shoe for only three weeks then pasting of the sole of the show got opened and I had to call the customer service but they did not responded to me, I keep calling them and after three days they replied and said no warranty for loose sole is their so they cant help me. So I have to repair the shoe with in twenty day after buying. Which is very bad compare to the price of the show.
The leather is not very good. It is more file plastic foam. The quality is very thin and it can get tor if you put extra presser. So the durability and the shoe life of a 2, 799 rupees shoe is very less, which is very bad staff by the company. The customer service is very bad. They don't even help after the sale of the shoe. once they are done with sale the shoe is your matter of concern.
The range of this company product is very high, starting from 1, 599 rupees and going till 2, 00, 999 rupees. But the varsity of the product is not their. only few models with limited amount of stock. They have only formal shoes. the colors are limited. Only black and brown shoes are available. So you don't have varsity while shopping this brand. It does not have shoppes all over Indian, only in few metro cities and online the shoes are available. don't buy from online as you will not get the exact same product. And you can loose you money easily. The company called BOSTONIAN is not very old and not among one of the trusted brands. So think twice before buying this shoes as the price is very high for bad quality shoes.
So the looks and the design is old, the quality is bad. The customer service and the attitude towards the clients are very rude and no loyalty is there for the users, I will not recommend this brand of shoes to other as I had a very bad experience, and I could not even used the shoe for one month. So if you have high budget try other good brands like BATA, KHADIMS, ROVER for formal shoes made in India. it will help you a lot. Don't buy this product as it does not full fill its expectations. And it costs a lot of money for no good reason. So I will give one out of ten to this shoe company called " BOSTONIAN ". So over all its not worth, this brand is not good.
