I'm a proud owner BOSE Acoustic Wave Music System (AWMS) since 1998. It is a simple briefcase size 2.1 channel Audio CD / Tuner system. I still have "BOSE Service Center" who supports the maintenance of the system till today!
The audio is down to its depth and it can compete with any larger amplifier based systems whether it is 2.1 / 5.1 channels. The sound that gets delivered, gives multi-dimensional audio notes feeling, and it just fills the room with a life like sound. A piano is a piano. A saxophone is a saxophone.
Whether you keep it low volume as low as 20 points or as high as 80 points (100 points is the max) you'll be amazed to listen to. No resounds / noises even at 100 points! It also operates using 8 D sized battery cells!!! Wow!
When I bought in 1998 it has Audio CD / Tuner. Now it is enhanced with MP3 and with some special Bose link connection to connect with other BOSE audio systems and a special iPOD connection.
All the best whoever buys this fantastic master piece from BOSE! It is worth to its price!
