Recently I have seen the movie Bommarillu. A very good performance oriented movie and characterization.
BUT...there are some points which I don't like about the movie which may give negative impact and negative encouragement on social and especially on youth. It shows the encouragement of love after engagement.
It shows encouragement to abuse vulgarly about one's father infront of friends, which most of the youth gets attracted to do that and I know many groups who are doing the same. They feel that they are dong the right thing and everyone feels himself as hero of this film.
Hero gets engaged eventhough he is not interested but accepts the situation and gets engaged with one girl. Then he falls in love with another college girl who is the main heroine and proposes her. This looks like an encouragement and no wrong if someone get engaged and can propose to another. It is not as easy as in movie that the girl who is engaged to the hero rejects him even after postage of some wedding cards.
Heroine after hearing his story of engagement, asks him if he really not interested in the engagement. After his answer that he is not happy with the engagement happened, she reveals that she is in love with him. It means that if one says that one is not happy and not interested in the engagement which had happened then the girl will blindly belives and says that she is in love. It mean, she is not thinking about the girl whom he had already engaged.
Hero shows huge respect and devotion to his father saying that he is loosing to win his father from childhood but he is actually making down his father by drinking, lying and abusing his father vulgarly outside.
Apart from these, the performance of each individual character is magnificient. Good commedy track. But there are negative messages than positive which may cause and make the youth and society to follow.
