Its very easy for us to say that mumbai police is very bad, inefficient, corrupt....
But before we say that we should respect the fact that they have the courage to join the police force, it is very easy for us to say that the police is frustrated, irritating, etc but do we know what they go through?..
Their day begins with criminals, murders, dead bodies, robbers, terrorists, etc and the list goes on, they do not have air conditioned offices like we do, they loose their lives in encounters with criminals and what do we do in return?...
Abuse them, give them names like "pandu" or "mama"....we curse the traffic police, i dare any one to stand in the heat for 1 entire day with heavy traffic all around you...we call them corrupt, but who gives them bribes?...."
WE"..their salaries are around 3000 to 6000rs...how can u possibly support your family in that much money?....The government is at fault, police officers should be well paid, should have the latest arms and equipment...
Our police uses guns which are 20 years old, criminals have far better weapons, and I dont believe the entire police force is bad, i have personally met many good well known officers....they have been very helpful to me and been there for me when I got an extortion call...
Its very heartbreaking to hear people just say ill things about the police, agreed there are bad officers but you cannot call the entire police force bad, and according to a survey years back mumbai police ranked second in the world after scotland yard....
I wonder how many of you know about that, we must support the police force and help them get better....i salute all the brave officers......!
