The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation(B.M.C.) is the worst governmental organisation I have ever visited.The quality of service is very poor and they are very slow at work.You get frustrated with their attitude towards you when you have some work to do like paying bills,etc.
They do jumbling in many works such as registration of births and deaths,enrolling names into ration cards,quoting the amount on your bills,etc. and the procedure to rectify it is also very time-consuming and involves a lot of paperwork.
In the elections that happened yesterday they promised that everybody above the age of 18 would get the right to vote who had registered their names with the enumerator who had visited the homes in November 2001 but they were using supplementary lists of the candidates of 1998.There were also cases of old names being deleted and wards getting interchanged which caused hardships to the people.Even I is was denied the most imprtant right of a democracy and I was a little upset as I was a first time voter.
They never do the works like repairing of roads,cleanliness of garbage,maintaining healthy surroundings,creating and maintaining public parks and other recreational activities.Their schools are also in a very bad state.This is the worst governmental organisation I have ever visited
