Had gone to kalaghoda yesterday for the westside sale and had my lunch here.We went around 4pm and the place was empty.For a minute I thought they were closed or something. The place is warm and comfy with a good seating area. The waiter was polite. We ordered the Garlic bread with cheese - very soft and freshly made, corn cheese balls - tasty corn with cheese melting in your mouth.
For lunch we ordered two punjabi thalis. I had never tried this item at bombay blue! The thali had a paratha, five veggies including mixed veg, paneer makhani, chole, dal and rice and one papad. The paneer was average, chole was tasty and dal rice was good too.
The other two veggies were very average. The service was slow but the food was good. One veg thali with an extra paratha would suffice two people. Portion size was good and fililng. Worth a try for the thali. Menu was overpriced - 1500 for three people. Had we not ordered the thali and only the roti bhaji it would have cost us more. Thali is a good option if you want to have a filling and budgeted meal! Overall a good experience. Service could be a little better.
