Rohit Shetty is not directing another Golmaal, but this time he is inspired from the original Golmaal to make his film Bol Bachchan. The movie is produced by Ajay Devgan. In the film, Abhishek Bachchan plays the role on the lines of Amol Palekar in the original. Junior B has two looks, one with mouche and another without it. Prachi Desai plays the love interest of Abhishek Bachchan. However, the biggest surprise in the film is Ajay Devgan whose character is based on the humorous and versatile Utpal Dutt. Asin is cast opposite Ajay Devgan in the film.

This film is one that seems to e truly promising. Directed by Rohit Shetty, ‘Bol Bachchan’ boasts of a cast that is more than impressive. The film stars the top names in Bollywood like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Asin Thottumkal, Prachi Desai and Abhishek Bachchan. The film was originally supposed to release on Diwali, in 2011 itself. But that is the same day that Shah Rukh Khan had chosen for the release of his film ‘Ra One’. The moment Rohit Shetty found out about this co-incidence, he shifted the date to 2012. Obviously the director did not want to compete with the man who is going to work with him on his next project.

'A lie may take care of the present but it has no future' but when a person lies to the Akhada king of Ranakpur - Prithviraj Raghuvanshi (Ajay Devgn), he makes sure that the person is left with no future ahead.

Four songs and their remixes, that pretty much describes the soundtrack of 'Bol Bachchan'. However, with four lyricists at their disposal, one expected a much better performance by the veteran Himesh Reshammiya and the duo of Ajay-Atul, who have earned much fame in Marathi music with their compositions. The album starts on a good note with the voice of Big B, who has used his baritone in the title track 'Bol Bachchan'. He is joined by son Abhishek and actor Ajay along with Himesh Reshammiya, Mamta Sharma and Vineet Singh.

Plot :

A young boy from Delhi, Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) has been drowning in his financial problems which lead him to his well wisher, Shastri's house in Ranakpur where he comes down to have a proper job to take care of himself and his sister Sania (Asin). Abbas accidentally falls prey to an indistinct situation which makes him lie about his name in front of the villagers in Ranakpur. This uncertain incident plays a very important twist in Abbas's life.

He lands up working as a supervisor under the strong Akhada king and an absolute lie hater Prithviraj Raghuvanshi. Destiny forces Abbas Malik to perpetrate a series of lies in front of his lie - hater boss!

A single person acting as two different entities, Abbas's topsy-turvy journey makes him lie lie and keep lying to his boss who hates liars to the core.

The fear of getting caught by his Akhada king lie hater boss ultimately turns Abbas into an Absolute 'Bol Bachchan'!
