Finally Rohit shetty has lost his Midas touch...A big let down from what was expected to be a nice movie.
First the plot which is hugely inspired from the yesteryear classic Golmaal and scenes which has been largely imported from the 2002 David Dhawan dud Chor Machaye Shor (Bobby Deol-Shilpa Shetty).
The only thing likeable about the movie was Abhishek bacchan as Abbas Ali and the dance performance which was really hilarious.(which had a touch of Dostana in it)
Ajay Devgan is becoming stereotypical in his roles, Asin and Prachi Desai didnt have much to perform.
Nice to see Krishna of Comedy circus fame not being neglected and getting few scenes to act. He has done justice to his part. Rest of the cast is just tolerable.
Music by Himesh is again mediocre, the title track and Chalao na naino se one were fairly good.
It was disappointing for me, being an ardent fan of Rohit Shetty films since Zameen.
Whether it was the Golmaal series or Singham, Rohit Shetty has pulled out marvelous performances from each of his ensemble cast.
The fun quotient of the Golmaal series and the action sequences in Singham were something to really appreciate and to his caliber that he can pull out humor from anything and everything.
It was also said that he understands the pulse of the audience, and accordingly he moulds his movies in the same manner, but he failed big time with Bol Bacchan.
A rip off from an yesteryear classic, scenes copied from another dud film and to add to that anomaly an extremely weak screenplay. Dialogues like honesty is the best mutual policy and I will remind him milk number 6 and my chest has become blouse are just a few examples of the innumerable PJ's this film has to offer. (Didn't understand why did the film thank Aamir Khan during the initial credits).
As there has been no big releases this week, I would suggest all my friends to go and watch the amazing spiderman for the second time instead of wasting money on this one.
