There are just two types of cinema, Good Cinema and Bad Cinema, this one belongs to the former,

after reading the newspaper reviews on saturday I vowed I would not watch this movie(it was not rated more than 2 stars) but little did I know that these newspapers hardly give out correct information, some really bad movies like "Golmaal 3" "Ready"( there was no proper plot) were rated 4-5 stars from them, maybe they like the slapstick comedy that has no heads and tails, and unsurprisingly  this one scored really less from the same set  but then critics are meant to criticize and will always look at the  glass half-empty.  Also this movie falls on the lines of simple sweet romance which are not in fashion for movies made today, or either the audience don't like slow paced movies or the directors don't like making it in the instant world with instant food, relationships and break-ups.

Well I won't write the storyline as it has been done many times here and on other articles on and off the web, I will say the story is simple without any twist in a complete bollywood fun fashion but it changes it's course after the interval, the performance by Salman as usual is "awesome" and Kareena is "Brilliant"(Thank god, she is doing Heroine finally instead of Aishwarya- a role which was hers and fell back in to her lap, the way the role of Sridevi in Laadla was rejected by her but was played by her after the demise of Divya B) . well coming back to the movie, the best part of the movie is the "CLIMAX", it was just too good, a strong twist in the story and very apt to one of it's melodious hummable song "Teri Meri". All the characters have done justice to the roles.

Now the Cons - The movie doesn't have a very strong plot but the last 25% of the movie compensates it, the action scenes are very unrealistic. the director should have toned it down a little and made it realistic(something that I didn't enjoy a bit), the songs are not exceptional, except "Teri Meri" which is a beautiful song rendered by Rahat & Shreya.

This movie will surely make you recall the superhit of late 90's KKHH to a great extent, and also Main Hoon Naa, Bandhan, DDLJ, Mera Farz  (Sridevi & Nagarjuna- 1988 release), Ghajini in bits and pieces.

Pros- Salman, Kareena, Very good Climax, Teri Meri Song, Simplicity in storyline.

Finally I will recommend it to all who like good cinema, and enjoys decent family entertainer in the age as it doesn't go slapstick in humor, crass in conduct, plot-less  with laughing tracks, vociferous over acting or cheap stuff but is really simple and as they say "Simplicity is the best fashion" this one is really the one to watch out for, but in the fast-paced world with no leisure many people decide the movies based on reviews by critics in tabloids and follow them, they(Critics)  are just human beings and rate the movies from their eyes, mind and heart and also from the revenue to generate from the producers for the number of stars they are bribed with . it is up to us to decide what we like and we don't, so watch it once and decide for yourself . but do watch it .
