This is going to be my first review on this platform.

Today I am going to be reviewing a product which is a very good moisturizer for the dull-looking skin from the authentic brand "The Body Shop" with loads of goodness of Vitamin C, which is known to be performed as a powerful ingredient for the youthfulness and rejuvenation of the skin.

So how I got to know about this product and why did I give it a try? Well, I was on my way on holiday, at the airport, I saw some sale is going on at the Body Shop store. FYI, I was well aware of the brand before buying the product, but as these products are not available in local stores, I never got the opportunity to try them out. So, I went into the store, I could see that there are so many products for different skincare and requirement. My eyes got glued over the section, where all the products are displayed in the bright tangerine color, and to my surprise, it was for my skin type. A little background about my skin: My skin is Oily Acne-prone skin and somewhat sensitive to some ingredients available in the market. My face sweats a lot in a humid environment. In short, acne treatments made my skin dull and lifeless. And, I desperately wanted to glow during my holidays, I had to buy this and so I got my hands on this product.

My Personal Experience:

This product comes in a bright tangerine-colored jar with a plastic black screw cap. It includes a white lid to keep the product from spilling out. The weight of the jar is not heavy but it could have been more compact. A spatula would have been a cherry on top of it was provided with the product to avoid contamination as you have to dig in with your finger inside the jar to get the product out.

Texture and Color:

This product is a gel-cream formula, which is light orange in color. But, after the application, the gel or the color does not show on the skin, i.e., no cast after application. It is non-sticky and after a good massage gets completely absorbed by the skin. It leaves a nice healthy glow just after application which lasts up to 4-5 hours on my oily skin.

Fragrance:

The smell of the moisturizer is mild and gives a scent of citrus. It does not overpower and not going to bother even the sensitive nose. The fragrance lingers for few hours.

How To Use:

Make sure to cleanse your face before applying the product. Pat dry your face and after your face gets completely dry, proceed with applying the gel/cream on your face. Gently massage on the skin and let it absorb completely into the skin. Make sure not to apply the product on your under eye area.

Then proceed with your daily skincare. You can also apply it under your makeup as it acts as a great base. Make sure to use a good SPF when using it during the daytime. If you are not comfortable using it daytime, you can also use it as a night moisturizer so that you can wake up to well hydrated and rejuvenated skin.

-Works for 4-5 hours(on my skin).

-Suitable for Oily/Acne-Prone/Sensitive Skin.

Would I recommend: Definitely Yes!
