This is such a beautiful story by our home grown but internationally acclaimed writer.
Ruskin Bond is my favourite author- one who never left Mussori, garwhal hills for west.
All his stories are based on himalayas, its people and native subjects.
Like many others, he is link with one's ancestral land . He makes realise about simple joys of life.
One has read a number of good books on himalayas or hills but Ruskin Bond really depicts pathos and joys of himalayan terrain.
Ruskin Bond has written a number of books - Roof on top, Grandfather's zoo
Read it to understand himalayas. Please do not mistake it as a kid's story;its all about human relations.
