Hi. I had been to Blue nyle last saturday with high hopes of eating one of their famous biryanis( am a regular) and some chicken starters. Was very sad to observe the following
The chicken tikka was very hard and cold and tasted like rubber
The biryani had loads of white rice and no good gravy. The rice felt too dry and I felt as if we were eating some curry and lots of white rice.
Please avoid Blue Nyle as they are only interested in increasing the number of customers that visit each day and dont bother about quality and taste anymore. Once upon a time, they made the best biryanis in town but sadly they wont even feature in the top 10 now.
The service was quick since they had already kept loads of chicken tikka ready in the kitchen which had gone cold and hard. So by the time we ordered we got it in 2-3 minutes and they did not even serve it with a mint chutney. When I asked for a mint chutney, I saw that they had charged me separately for the mint chutney. And this dish costed Rs.110 which was way too high for some pieces of hard, cold, burnt chicken.
P.S. You can try George's( on M.G. road itself) who have awesome biryanis.
