Our tenth std exams had just got over and our school was planning to take us some where. One of our friends suggested this place as it had opened recently and was owned by his friend. We all at once jumped to the idea when shown the pictures of the resort.
Mind you, I had been to this place about 3 years ago. I have no idea how it is now, so just consider that fact when reading this review. The location of the resort is amazing. It is really surprising how close it is to the market but then too so quite. It is just about a 15 min walk from the main market. The view from the parking place of the resort is superb. You get a bird's eye view of the whole thing.
The resort itself is quite huge. You name the thing and you have it. Swimming pool, health club, a discotheque et al. It also had a jogging track right in the centre of the whole resort.
Rooms were quite spacious. Depends on the one which you take. The ones we stayed in had a small backyard attached. Bathrooms were big too, almost half the size of the room.
We had been to the discotheque but that was nt so great bcoz the DJ that time was playing some kind of boring dance music. Though a special mention must be given to the lighting effects and all that the disco possessed.
For entertainment we had the pool, snooker table and carrom.
Food was good. There were not many varieties available that time. We had anyways opted for a buffet lunch and dinner. The taste was nothing exceptional. It was just that the dish tasted as it should. Nothing more than that. The cook prepared vegetarian dishes much better than the non-vegetarian ones. Special mention should be made of the fact that the restaurant building had a emergency exit to be used in case of fires etc.
Basically, we enjoyed there. Though it was nt up to the mark, as it had recently been set up, the staff was new and therefore a little confused. The resort itself had some rough edges like behind the rooms there were some cement bags kept and it was a little messy.
