Listening to the album all excited so pardon the spelling/gramatical mistakes if any!

Chiggy Wiggy - Kylie Minogue, Sonu Nigam, Suzanne; Lyrics - Abbas Tyrewala

You'll must've seen this song in the promos it starts with Kylie doing her thing as this song has been made for herbut wait this is a surprise package it changes to Bhangra fusion with the male vocals. Believe me guys this song is groovy all the way will rock the dance floor for a long time to come

*Aaj Dil Gustakh Hai - Sukhwinder Singh, Shreya Goshal; Lyrics - Mayur Puri

*Starts with the same guitar like Allah ke Bande by Kailash Kher and I thought that Rahman has composed it in a hurry(he had mentioned that this will be one of his last assignments before Raavana for a long time as he is overworked). But this song takes it own path and is experimental to the core. Just give it time. Couldnt undertsand the lyrics though on first hearing

Fiqrana - Vijay Prakash, Shreya Goshal; Lyrics - Rajat Arora

Sounds very much like the Lucky Ali song(Anjana, Anjani) in Yuva(sorry have a habit of comapring) which is actually a compliment. This is the kind of song that would play in the end credit sort of a theme song. Good lyrics and overall a charged up song As long as I know Vijay Prakash is a new singer and Rahman has this knack of coming up with fresh talent. Absolutely rocking voice

Bhoola Tujhe - Rashid Ali; Lyrics - Abbas Tyrewala

Slow and soothing ballad true to the name of the movie it is a blue song I'd say a typical Rashid Ali song. Rahman Sir uses the trumpets very nicely in this song. It talks about longing for ones sweetheart

Blue Theme - Blaaze, Raqeeb Aalam, Sonu Kakkar, Jaspreet Singh, Neha Kakkar, Dilshad; Lyrics - Raqeeb Alam & Sukhwinder Singh

You'd think that this would be a techno number yes it is! But wait its a lot more! Folks this is a full fledged song wonder why they have chosen to call it "Theme". The chorus goes Baluuuu(instead of Blue). It is the innovative use of folk fusion and chorus that makes this song stand out of the rest. It has a lounge kind of feel to it and the tempo slowly increases to a crescendo in the end.

*Rehnuma - Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal; Lyrics - Mayur Puri

*Starts like an opera with a "Yuvraaj"(tu muskura) kind of feel but takes a different turn with a little James Bond theme music in between. Wait what am I saying? Just can't get over the excitement you see! Hear it to believe it. This songs got a mysterious feel to it. It has wonderful techno drum beats in between and overall a song which will grow on you I'll definitely have to listen to it several times before I can write more.

*Yaar Mila Tha - Udit Narayan, Madhushree; Lyrics - Abbas Tyrewala

*This is the first song I heard and am saving it for the last, heard Udit Narayan after a long time. This is the sort of Rahman songs you wait for. Its going to top all charts for a long time to come. Superb lyrics superb vocals by both and the folksy chorus which goes Ata Tarrrr arra rrara is just too good. I've not even started about the music. Rahman experiments to the hilt and what a result! The songs slow groovy beats will just blow you away on first listening. Would you believe if I said that there is a car horn which honks in between the song, now you would have heard that in a lot of movies but when Rahman sir does it he does it in style. Hear it to believe it

This song is what prompted me to write a review here(my first ever). My only grouse with the song is it ends tooo sooon tooo abruptly there should at least have been 3 different versions of this song.

Finally no song has been sung by the maestro himself which is a bit of a let down overall 7 songs and each one an individual masterpiece.

Move over Vishal Bhardwaj(he was ruling the charts with Kaminey) the biggie is back to annihilate all competition, maybe you could delay the relase of Ishqiya music.
