Hello to all readers out there! Today I am going to be reviewing a skin care product which I love using in winters as an alternative to heavy-duty moisturizers for peeling skin. Let's start the review.
I believe every person loves to have a healthy and glowing skin and we always seek for such product that removes dullness and works as an elixir to our skin.
Talking about my skin, my skin's behavior changes as per the weather, but basically I have a combination/oily/acne-prone skin type. So, in Delhi's chilling winter, my skin started to peel next level, which cannot be healed by over-the-counter moisturizers/lotions available in the market. It became so inconvenient to apply makeup on my skin, even after moisturizing it so well. Apart from the nourishing moisturizers, I searched for some good facial oils. And, honestly, when the beauty advisor suggested me this oil, I was skeptical about it as facial oils may cause breakouts, but, then as nothing was working on my peeling skin, I decided to use it for a change. After buying this, I looked out for some reviews online, and to my surprise, found some good reviews and experiences.
So, here I am sharing my views on Blossom Kocchar Aroma Magic - Beautiful Skin Oil.
Product Claims:
Packaging:
It comes with a beautiful and authentic tiny blue glass bottle with a black screw cap. Once you open the screw cap, you can find a transparent lid with a hole, to dispense a required amount of the facial oil at one time. Thus preventing the wastage of the product. It's completely spill-proof, making it travel-friendly and hygienic.
Ingredients:
Pure essential oils of Rosemary, Lavender, Rose, Palma Rose and Patchouli.
Benefits of these oils:
Rosemary: It's antiseptic oil that protects the skin from sun and free radicals.
Lavender: It also has anti-inflammatory properties which reduce blotchy patches, inflammation and redness on the skin.
Rose: It provides prevention from winkles and acne.
Palma Rosa: It balances sebum and hydrates skin very well.
Patchouli: It helps to restore chapped and dry skin and helps to repair the skin from within.
Texture:
It has the normal oil consistency. If taken in a required amount as per the skin type, it hydrates skin well. The oil takes a little time to get absorbed in the skin. It can make skin real oily, to avoid such situation use in a little quality for one-use, then gradually increase the amount as per the need.
Fragrance:
The fragrance of the oil is really strong, whenever I apply this oil, it's fragrance spread throughout my room. Though this oil is made up of a beautiful blend of most of the scented products, but people with sensitive nose will not going to appreciate its aroma. As we all know that most of the skin oils do have strong fragrance as they contains a huge amount of different oils together.
Usage:
This beauty elixir can be used in various ways as per the skin type. It works excellent, especially during the winter season as it provides a good hydration to dull and dry skin. People with extremely dry skin can use this oil directly onto the skin. It preps skin so well, that it can be used before the application of makeup both as a primer and moisturizer. It acts as a barrier between the skin and foundation, hence, providing a protective layer between two, and also can be used as an alternative to the night cream before going to bed.
TIP: If you want to dilute your foundation, you can also mix this oil with any of your foundations for smooth and even application. It can be used with any of your favorite moisturizers as well.

It comes in a quantity of 20 ml - Rs. 375(from Nykaa). May vary.
It's easily available online, almost on all renowned apps or sites and large beauty stores, but might be difficult to get this product in your local beauty outlets.
Shelf Life:
3 years from the manufacturing date.
Personal Experience:
Coming to my personal experience, this oil definitely provides a healthy glow and helps to rejuvenate the skin from within. To some extent, it lightens the minor marks on face though one should not rely on this to cure pigmentations and dark spots. It also helps to improve the skin texture. You can include this wonderful product in your daily skin care regime.
Try not to anticipate that the product should show quick outcomes. The deeper the problem, the more time it will take. As I am sharing my views after using the product more than a month. My skin feels soft and supple with regular usage.

It has a strong fragrance, some people may not like it
Must be used in required quantity as it will make skin oily and greasy
Cannot remove deep pigmentations and scars
Oily skin beauties may refrain from using this oil, especially during summers.
Overall Review:
Overall its a decent inexpensive product with all the natural ingredients. It can be used during the winter season as it may make the skin oily in the summers and I personally like to apply only gel-based products throughout the summer. If you are looking for a healthy glow then try this product for once, but if you are looking for a multi-purpose oil to cure your skin problems then this product is not right for you.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend this product:
I will try out some other beauty oils as I like to try different products. But, I will definitely recommend this product to try it out during winter season.
