This is one Sidney Sheldon book that I would never recommend. I read it when young, and was distressed with the killings and brutal murders. Although it was adapted into a movie, it still is a brutal story of murders and more more murders committed by a maniac, who does not get the love and respect he deserves from the one he loves above all.
A wealthy man dies, leaving behind his daughter and a string of money-crazy relatives. As you read on and the murders unfold, all of them will seem guilty, except for the murderer. It shows the dirty side of human relationships and the power that money holds.
