I am back to my normal self…writing on a topic that is a misfit to the category may not be suitable for mass reading and definitely not generalized. It may spark off some controversies, but even that is welcome! MS gives me this option and I will misuse it to my benefit!

Coming to why I chose this category…I was searching for categories like Aastha channel or advice on watching spiritual channels but I could not find any! This was the nearest I could get to. So here I am talking about what we Indians are passionate about....God and god like people and the blessings you can get from them.

But first...I have to talk about a dream I had...it had a baba and it had loads of disciples and followers...let me give you some insights on this one:)

Schaum Baba is a new age baba...he surfs internet, carries a mobile phone and operates on an international level...he teaches art of successful living and killing...killing of the evils of the society or your own enemies...he teaches all! he has many chelas or in decent language...disciples...a look at them as well:

1. Saint Carlos: He is the first and the foremost disciple...he agrees on what the Baba says and he has high regards for him...The baba on the other hand, loves Carlos truly and talks to him about everything under the sun, moon and stars...

   
   




2. Shrugs4u: She is the new one...she doesnt believe in what Baba says each time but do not disagree with him. She thinks that the Baba is cool, will make it big one day and wants to join the gang...as in this society or this organization...or whatever!

   
   
   
   
   
   1. Toothy: This one is the confused one...he doesn’t want to say "Jai Baba" nor will he say “to hell with baba"...he is a confused soul who has still not been enlightened...and Baba will surely help him as well!
   
   
   

The dream dealt with how Baba helps one and all...he has telepathy with most of his disciples and how he helps them attain...the ultimate moksha! but....not everything remains hunky dory with the Baba...the baba becomes unwell n has to surrender his title...thus arise the new generation...the chelas became the new baba's and maa's...the dream ends but he baba logs and maaa logs continue....and continue!

For someone like me, who is deeply religious, believes in god and mankind equally, it gets scary when I see these god like figures getting the same attention as god...it disturbs me deeply to see a man or a woman proclaim himself or herself as descendants of god and protectors of mankind. These godly men/women who appear on channels like Aastha and other spiritual channels portray a fake belief....they talk about life, they talk about how honest and spiritual you can be...but all this at a cost...you can attain moksha but first listen to them..."we provide better moksha than the other one"...crazy isn’t it?

I am a firm believer of god...I know there is someone who is taking care of my wishes, my family and me...he/she knows my demands, knows my limitations and knows when I need a whacking...he/she for me is god and yes...he/she is different from my parents, my sisters or my friends...he is not human and he is surely one pedestal above all of us. I pray to him, I talk to him and I sulk at him...it gives me peace, it sometimes makes my heart happy and sometimes it doesn’t do anything at all. But yes I know there is a god for all of us and we should believe in him.

Bapus and Maa's of any religion bugs me...they make me go against my own religious beliefs sometimes. They make me think that may be god doesn’t exist...may be these godly men and women are the only way to attain true moksha and happiness...they make me sad and upset of the fact that these men/women play with the beliefs of thousands and get away with it...it is a sad reality....why do we let these humans who have done nothing half as good or worthy, act as immortals or people who can

There are some people who are no Bapu's, baba's or Maa's...they talk about humans, they help the poor souls on roads, they talk about mankind...they do not guarantee moksha but yes...they show you a path...a path which tells help each other and may be you can attain the ultimate happiness...!!!These are people who are not talked about, these are people who are not on Aastha...these are you and me...normal people who do their bit and keep shut...they do not brag about it and do not make a mockery of your beliefs...why do we not believe in such people? Why do each religion has these middlemen who try to act as a bridge between god and you? Do we really need these Bapu's and Maa's?

This review is not a sermon...it is a sad reality for most of us...I was appalled on seeing these Baba's and Maa's and so wrote this one...feel free to comment and discuss! As for the title, those who know Fibonacci Series, knows it all..n the relevance as well :)
