A consignment containing 2 T-shirts and 1 shirt was sent by me on 04/08/08 under C/Note No. 210729013 to my son as a birthday gift to reach him well before his birthday on 18/08/08. The same never reached the consignee at his Mumbai address.
None of my emails addressed to Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Director, Chief General Manager, General Manager Finance, Chief Secretary to CMD was acknowledged/returned for over 3 weeks. Most of the telephones were either found not working while the others were attended to advising me to call the GM Mr. Ravinder , Ph: 9810633746 (never picked up),
Ms. Leena Roy, DGM (CSD), Ph: 9810487060 (advising me to contact Ms. Sushma, Dealing Officer, Ph: 43565758) rarely picks up the phone and disconnects without listening the full contents. Mr. Amit Gupta, Co-ordinator, Delhi, Ph: 9810744200 advised me to contact Mr. Kriplani, Ph: 9810075153 who is dealing with the claim cases but, inturn, he informed me that consequent upon his transfer was no more dealing with the claim cases. The Customer Service at Jhandewalan,
New Delhi has been advising me for the last 4 days to contact Ms. Priyanka, Ph : 9899732280 who has been dealing with my Case File No. 357, her phone rings but she never picks up the phone recently. Earlier she attended the phone and assured me to callback but never did so. Now I am at loss to know about the outcome of my claim of Rs. 1670/- (Rs. 1590/- cost of articles, Rs. 80/- as courier charges) lodged with the company on 06/09/08 as advised by DGM Letter No. SU: LR: 2008/950 dated 01/09/2008.
* Concequent upon a lengthy and tiring follow-up of 3 months I managed to get only Rs.1000/- as reimbursement of my claim of Rs.1670/- which includes Rs.80/- as their charges.
