As with recent reviews you can tell that I like to shop online. I love the convenience that I receive from it. I like the fact that all the places I do shop online from are safe and I have had no problems thus far with any of them. I also like to shop for clothes from time to time and one of those places if Blair.com.
They offer a large variety of clothing for women and men. Guaranteed! You can even shop for the home at Blair! I liked this because I got some new sheets for a lot less than in the stores.
The Website of Blair
When you first sign on to their website you will find on their homepage where you can login and then shop. Now this is not the only thing on the homepage but it is the most important one I think. But whether you login or not you will still find what they currently have on sale right there in front of your.
The homepage is always very attractive and colorful, easy to read and easy to get around. Across the top you will find various links for: Women, Men, Home, 220 Hickory, Clearance and Homepage.
You will also find your shopping cart or view basket and check out. You will also find the help line phone number, which is: 1-800-821-5744, where you will find a very friendly and helpful customer service representative. And of course the help section, which is always nice to look at.
You will also find special links for the items on sale for the day or week, along with links for clearance bargains and email specials. They even offer a New Feature link, where you will find any new items that they have available. You can use the search engine to find specific catalog items or you can use the keyword to locate items.
You can also go to their specialty shops for Motor Sports, Diamonds, and now new at Blair, Jane Seymour. They also offer My Virtual Model where you can create a model for men’s clothing. This is nice when you are trying to buy for your husband or son or other male relative and you know the size but you don’t know how it will look. And for the fact that not all clothes made will fit the same. Great feature!
And they also offer their Market Place where you can save on gifts, travel, hotels and more. Check that part out, you may be glad you did.
Down at the bottom of the page are the links that will take to: Shop with Confidence, Customer Service and Catalog Specials. And each of these has links underneath that will take you to all information needed at the site. All that before you log in!
After you log in you will be taken to “My Account” page where you can check the status of your order, your address book, and your account information. And here you can edit this information on your account if you need to. Then you can click the link for “Continue Shopping” and shop away.
Back at the homepage you can click on the various links and over to the left hand side will be a menu for that particular link.
For instance say you want to look for something in the home, click that link and you will then find links for: Season’s Best, On Sale, Bedding, Window, Bath, Household, Kitchen, Health and Gifts. And of course each of these will take you that area.
Let’s say you want to get some bedding, after clicking that link you will see links for: Comforters, Quilted Bedspreads, Woven, Quilts, Blankets, Sheets, Pillows, Pads and Covers, and Accents. Let’s click on sheets. Because I love buying new sheets! I haven’t had new ones in such a long time that I was really excited to be able to finally get some! When I click that link I find a variety of sheets to choose from, like flannel, cotton, silk and others. Sometimes these items are on sale and sometimes not. And you will want to shop around and weigh your options.
All of the main links are set up this way for very easy shopping. The site is really easy to get around and the load time is very fast. I am always satisfied when using the Blair site.
Another great feature that Blair offers is this: When you have decided on an item, there is an availability window that will pop up and let you know what is in stock. There is also a separate window for available colors and sizes. I love this opportunity because then I don’t get told “Item Not Available” and have to try again.

Registering at Blair is very easy to do. Requirements are the usual name, address, phone and payment information. And all of your information is very safe.
I have been using Blair for a long time now and thus far I have had no problems in any way. You can even use their credit, which is what I do. The interest rate is about the same as most credit cards, in fact better than credit cards that I have. Be sure and read all the information about their privacy policy, security policy and credit policy. This is very important information so read carefully. And be sure and look at the Investor Information.
How I Feel
I love this place! Can’t you tell! Blair offers quality merchandise at good prices. However I do have to admit that sometimes their prices are a little high, so you will want to shop around. But over all I have been wonderfully satisfied with Blair.
Sometimes during Holidays they will offer free shipping and handling and sometimes when you get a catalog in the mail you can get free shipping and handling which is always nice.
And you need to know that their s/h fees which are: for $20.00 or less the rate is $4.99, $20.01 to $40.00- $6.99, $40.01 to $60.00- $8.99, $60.01 to $80.00- $9.99, $80.01 to $100.00- $10.99 and over $100.00- $11.99. Now I think that these may be a little high, but they also may be normal in comparison to other online clothing stores. So I am always glad to get free s/h.
I can return anything that I don’t like or didn’t fit with no problems. I can exchange it or get a refund, not a problem. Of course I have to pay to send it back but that’s okay. I just simply take the white bag my stuff comes in, turn it inside out, put the stuff back in it, with instructions on the handy instruction sheet and mail it.
I also shop at other sites and I may talk about them later, but Blair is one of my favorite places to shop. Everything that I have gotten from them has been machine washable and have wash and dried very well. Very little ironing.
And I don’t care where you buy your clothes sometimes you are just going to have to iron. I know how you feel, I hate it too! Overall I like it here at Blair.com.
