I always wanted a blackberry but found it too expensive, i was glad when I heard that blackberry is launching the curve 8520 which is not so expensive when compared to the other blackberry phones.i like the glossy finish on the face of the phone however some portions are covered with a silicon layer over plastic.
The colour screen is bright and sharp and you can still manage to read text under direct sunlight.The phone has a good grip, it has a 2mp camera but no flash.The qwerty keypad is good and has a curvy design, there is enough space between th keys when compared to nokia high end phones.The phone works smooth and is bundled with a variety of applications, the navigation is simple and so is the response.
The phone has a 256mb internal memory and there is a 2gb card bundled along, which is good.The browser works better after activating blackberry service.There is blackberry messenger, windows live messenger, gtalk and yahoo messenger.
There are other pre installed applications such as memopad, calculator, word to go, sheet to go, voice notes recorder, password keeper, etc....it has several games such as poker, sudoku, brickbreaker...The phone has a strong network hold, it even supports enterprise email, it has all the connectivity options except for 3g, there is wi fi as well.The battery life is good, the audio quality of the phone is also good...i bought the phone for arnd 16000 and recommend to people looking out for a good smartphone.
