This college is located in a beautiful place Bhimtal, which falls in Nainital district, a place full of beutiful mountains and valleys. It is a small technical college which provides degree in two courses: B-Tech and MCA. It offers B-Tech in two branches CSE and ECE. The quality of education is good though it should not be your pick if you are looking for a private college that would help you get placed for over a lakh per month. The college offers to over 90% placement. The On-Campus placements hires students at an average package of 3-5 lakhs per annum. Though the students on one's own caliber have been placed with pay upto 9-10 lakhs too. The package is good being a fresher into the job field.
The College is a good choice if you think you can do real good with your talent.
Their is no compulsion on wearing college dress daily to college. The campus is not such big that you just would get lost in it. The climate always remains good being an idle place to study. Like all Indian colleges it also follows semester pattern.
It is affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University and is quiet an old college. The hostels are inside the campus, so one does need to leave a lot early to reach college.
The college houses a sufficiently big enough library, functioning labs and a good internet facility. Hostels are also provided with WiFi facility for students. It is obviously a Co-Ed college, the hostels are though seperate. The mess offers a good quality food though sometimes the taste deteriorates to a good height too. An in- campus canteen is available for the compensation. The college is locate in the heart of city with market surrounding it. So definitely no lack of facility.
It takes admission through counselling conducted by UTU. It also offers spot counselling seats and possibly some management seats too. Lateral entry of B-Tech and MCA follows the same pattern.
It is a good college, rest depends on one's choice and destiny.
