So I recently watched Birdbox, before I watched it, I was bombarded with memes on the internet about this movie and how unique the concept of the film was.
There occurs a phenomenon where people cant see the outside world because there are some unknown creatures waiting for you to see them and after you do, you want to kill your self. How interesting does that sound! Well I was so excited about it because there was so much hype around the movie.
When I finally saw it, while watching the movie I thought its just like any other Apocalypse movie and there was nothing special about it. Maybe the hype was just a marketing gimmick by Netflix so that more and more people would watch the movie.
Sandra Bullock does justice to her role and overalll every actor in the film delivers a good performance.
Conclusion - The movie isnt bad, but it just not lives upto the hype that was created by everyone. Its an average movie. If you watched alot if Apocalypse-Survival films or shows then this movie wont amaze you at all because its nothing special.
