I was looking for a good pair of footwear and saw the advertisement in bigshoebazaar.com. Though they have a wide range of products to offer. But the website is damn slow and takes a lot of time to browse through the product ranges.
After ordering the product by credit card, though the money was deducted , but when I checked my account in the website , it showed incomplete transaction. When I called upon the help desk, they first said that, the money has not been debited to their account , so my account in the website is showing incomplete transaction. I was shocked as the payment gateway was through Citibank.
I again complained, if the problem is with their citibank account , why consumer like me should suffer. Later after 2 - 3 dyas , I was informed that the payment issue has been resolved and they will ship the product within 4-5 days.
It took another 8 days or so to reach the product to me. This whole process took around 15 days , though they promise to deliver within a week. Again, I have come to know that they do not have any centralized stock as such, but they source the products from some local stores in the metros.
So , you can never be sure about the quality and the authenticity of the product.
Their payment and dispatch system is pathetic. Why they have opened an online shop , God knows.
I would suggest, better look for some footwear ini you own locality then wasting time on the site, you will get much better deal when you look to the shops around you
