It cannot go worse than this. Review on Bigflix

I was a subscriber of old BigFlix, where some one used to come and deliver the DVDs. There were many flaws in that system as well but I will not talk about that as that is gone. Now silently BigFlix upgraded all of us to BigFlix+; their service where instead of physical DVD you can stream digital content and watch at your PC.

We were given two options, either register for BigFlix and they will send 10 DVDs free or take your money back. I choose free DVD with BigFlix+ a friend choose refund. Now the irony is; nothing happened. Neither did they send the DVDs(its more than 2 months now)' nor did they refund the amount to my friend. They have silently removed their old customer care number from their website and all you have now is their mail support; which trust me; does not respond at all.

I somehow manage to get the old customer number and to my astonishment; it was still working (Google the number). They responded in typical manner that sir this week you'll get your DVD. Obviously I haven't yet and it is being more than a month since I talked with them.

There are pretty much no English title for now and very few Hindi one. That too majority of library is full of unknown movies. which you might not have heard of. Saving the movie and watching at own leisure is a gimmick as well because most of the movies can not be downloaded.

Those which can be downloaded; has to be downloaded in one short, the download manager is buggy as if you close it; it does not even give you a warning that "if you close it in between download; you'll need to download whole movie again from start".

Only thing positive is that movies are of good resolution and looks fine on LCD(not great but OK). In all means another FAILED venture from Reliance BIG brand. I have not received the DVD; nor my friend got his refund; but we have learned one thing.

Stay away from any thing which says Reliance Big.
