I have ordered four to five times from Big Basket. Mostly ordered groceries and vegetables. These were emergency purchases. I have always booked time slot for delivery between 7:30 am to 10:00 am but never received it in this slot it is either delivered after 11:00 am or in the afternoon.
The first time I ordered vegetables they were not at all fresh. After cooking one could clearly see the difference in taste.
The second time I ordered vegetables it was again delivered not on time.
The fifth time experience was the worst. As per process I have given the details of the delivery address in my profile on the website. Even then the delivery boy phoned asking for the location. I intimated him the landmark & the exact location. But after a few hours got a message stating that the delivery is cancelled as they could not locate my address.
After this bad experience I have stopped shopping on Bigbasket.com but now rely on other online groceries. Big basket should realize customers can go through a very harrowing experience if their orders are canceled at the last moment.
Bigbasket should train their delivery boys, improve the quality of products delivered.
