I am a regular customer to order my monthly needfuls from big basket.
The experience as a consumer has not been always smooth with the delivery person, but manegeble with the orders in other respect.But today, the experience was worse that I decided, will never order stuffs from this place and would also share the thoughts to my known ones.
My order no: BGUVO-14349832-200816 - Rs 2597
The delivery boy came in today morning, and I paid through sodexo(1880) and the rest via card(which I was requesting).The delivery boy, made a call to his representative, and the lady on call informed that its cash on delivery so no card swipe for the pending amount, can be possible, which I understood.
Since I was not having cash in hand, I decided to return back few items(amt around 717).
What was next was a shocker for me-When I requested to return few things back, the delivery boy shouted, " you cannot return food items", I was taken aback, as no where in the website could I see these hidden constraints from "Big Basket" and the delivery boy misbehaved, by speaking in a fighting mode-Which was unacceptable, post which I returned all the order out of frustation.
SORRY to say, but as a brand you need to be cautious on your employees(specially the delivery boys), as they are your brand face in the public and there misbehavior towards your consumers, will define how Big Bsket is.
