I have tried bigbasket only once and they are taking me for a ride on my very first order. My order was supposed to be delivered at 5: 30 in the evening. By 8: 30 I was lost my patience and shot a mail to tgeir customer service.
They replied back saying that there was operational breakdown and order will be delayed. At 9: 30 I shot another email and they asked me to cancel and reorder on the next available slot. I did that and asked them to deliver it next morning but got a reply saying that there was no slot available.
By now I was so miffed by these guys that I asked them for a refund. Its been 12 days since I requested for a refund and havent received it till now. Pathetic customer service who dont have the courtesy to inform the customer if the order was going to be delayed.
They have standard replies ready and tge same will be sent to you irrespective of what your concern is. According to their faq, customers will be informed about delay in delivery and 10% of the order amount will be added to the wallet. To get around such policies, they will force the customers to cancel the order rather than accepting any blame on themselves. Avoid these guys or forget your money.
