I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with their service. Not only was the entire process frustrating, but the prices for groceries on their platform were outrageously high compared to what I could get at my local market.
Firstly, their website was slow and clunky, making it difficult to navigate and select items. Adding insult to injury, many of the products I wanted were out of stock, and there was no notification until I reached the checkout. This resulted in an incomplete order with no way to easily find suitable replacements.
The most shocking aspect of my Bigbasket experience was the exorbitant prices. I expected a slight markup for the convenience of home delivery, but the price difference was jaw-dropping. Simple, everyday items like fruits, vegetables, and dairy products were significantly more expensive than what I would pay at my neighborhood grocery store.
To make matters worse, when my order finally arrived, some of the products were close to their expiration dates, leaving me with no choice but to consume them immediately.
In summary, Bigbasket.com not only offers a frustrating shopping experience but also charges a premium for groceries that are readily available at much lower prices in local markets. I will never be using their services again and would advise others to do the same. It's simply not worth the hassle and the extra cost.
