If you are desperately looking forward to get cheated and yet failed, try this one. Try to change your DTH/Cable operator. Call Appco Marketing Pvt Ltd. and say that you want the Reliance Big TV connection. (Generally it is the other way round. These guys will come to you will a “steal” deal. Something like Free installation, 6 months platinum subscription free etc.)
That’s it. You fall in love with Reliance BigTV and Appco marketing and book a connection straight away. They give you a form you fill the form, give them a cheque. These guys disappear. After a while to enjoy the frustration of getting cheated, you try calling the numbers mentioned on the form. None of them work. Wow! Then call the Reliance BigTV call centre. They will not give you a complaint number since you are not there customer yet. Perfect. More frustration.
You call the call centre again and again and curse them like anything (%@#%^#%^#^&^). These guys are rhino skinned. They don’t give a damn to you. MORE FRUSTATION. At the height of frustration, probably a week after all this happened, you decide that you cannot wait anymore.(No TV programs at home for a week. That causes a lot of frustration!) and call any other DTH vendor like AirTel, TataSky etc and subscribe it. Wait … Picture abhi baki hai mere dost.
A month after this circus, Appco marketing guy will call you and ask you. “Sir, when can I come and install Big TV at your place.” THIS IS THE EPITOME OF FRUSTRATION.
This is what I did. The only difference was that I wasn’t looking to get frustrated.
Well on paper no one has cheated anybody. But on ground, I lost Rs. 1490 to APPCO MARKETING and reliance BIG TV.
Isn’t it a beautiful and most innovative way to cheat people?
The day I am writing this review is when I got a call for installation. (EPITOME OF FRUSTRATION)
I now fully understand the modus operendi of Reliance and secret of their runaway success. JAY HO.
