Hi All, The title of this reivew is the motto of Ambanis. I did not believe it until I became the BIG TV customer. I feel so miserable to chose this B(uggers)TV instead of Tata Sky. Here is the experience:


I bought this Big TV on Sept 20. Got it installed on the same day night. Started working from next day morning. I paid 2.5 K initialy and I opted for the South Starter Pak. Initially they gave me South Starter premium pack free for three months. + some Cinema channels free. (Not of any use as all old movies showing for 24x 7). Just before completing the 3 months period got lot of SMSs from these customer care offices (very good in sending SMSs, but very poor in solving customer's complaints). So before 1 week of completing the 3month period I purchased a recharge coupon for Rs.500.


Now, I called the customer care office. After trying for 20-30 minutes, one guy came on line. I gave my sub ID number and the Voucher number. He said he will put me on hold for some time as he has to cancel the Premim pack option and get me into the South Pak, whcih is Rs.175 per month as per the leaflet they supplied to me during the installation.


Now after some 20 minutes the guy came on line and told me that he now removed me from the South Premium Pak and now he will make me subsribe the South Minimum Pak. Here comes the first suprise!! He said now your monthly charge will be 185 (whereas when I installed it, I was told that it is Rs.175), I questioned him, he said now there is a service charge to add to that so it comes to Rs.185. I said ok. No option... I went home then realized that allmost 80% of the channels were now not accessible. Only South Package is available. So whaterver I was getting in Premium pacakge is changed to South Minimum Pack.


So Rs.185 per month is my subscritpion charges. I bought Rs.500 coupon. So minium it should go for 2 months then also there is a balance of Rs.130/- (Very normal mathematics, common sense). Now the second biggest surprise!!. After recharging for Rs.500. just two weeks passed, started gettign SMSs from the customer care... telling that my balance is nearing zero!! Frurstrated me called the customer care guy.. Asked him what happned. I was told that now my account is now almost NIL balance as there were two pacakge running simultaneously!!


But I was not gettign the channels whcih were there in the Premium Pack. He said I should have infomred the customer care guy during the recharging, that the South Premium Pack should be inactivated and the New Package i.e. South Minium Pack (this is my terminology, slightly different from the leaflet). How I know the operating model in in BIG TV. Had a huge fight I had with him and I decided to throw that Set Top BOx from my home as the customer care guy told me that they cannot reverse it. even if it was their mistake.. I did not recharge.. but luckily start working the same for another 2 months approx. then again the same story to recharge... now I am recahring it for only 1 month period.. So that I will not loose more money if they gooffed up.. So to make it short, PLEASE DONT EVERY BUY ANY RELIANCE PRODUCTS IN GENERAL AND BIG TV IN SPECIFIC....
