I am posting my experience here. Self explanatory.

I bought Big TV's Set Top Box around 1 months back and called the same day for scheduling installation. I was told that the installation will be done before 72 hours of calling. Instead of fequent follow-up nobobdy came for installation.


I called BigTV customer care after 72 hours and they gave me a complaint no  saying that my installation would be done within 24 hours and if installation is not done in 24hours I need to call back again and it will be done in 2 hrs this time. I called 4 times after that after awaiting for the time given by you each time, but was of no use, just false promises by Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. At the end one guy called Rohit from bangalore visited for installation 11th day. That guy is just a local labour and he doesn't seems to be knowing anything technical. His work was also sub-standard and kept the cable just laying through floor and not even crimpeped properly.


After initial setup, he said the channels will be activated in half-an-hour. But unfortunately nothing came fo 72 hours. Again compalined to customer care 3-4 times, then it got activated and worked for just 5-6 days.


Again the STP adapter failed and logged complaint again. No action from your side. Luckly, my dealer replaced the adapter when I threated to give it back on the third day.


Now for the last 7 days, no channnels come up. Says " signal tool low" only menus comnes. Complaind again, said it will be solved in 48 hours. Since nothing happend as expected, called up again. I AM SURPRISED TO HEAR THAT THE COMPLAINT IS CLOSED AS THEY SEND THE 'MAIL" TO TECHNICAL TEMA. WHAT NONSENSE? YOU DONT HAVE THE RESPOSIBILITY TO CHECK THAT THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINT IS SOLVED BEFORE CLOSING IT.


AS A BEGGER, AGAIN LOGGED THE COMPLAINT WITH NEW COMPLAINT NUMBER. AGAIN SAME TONE, IT WILL BE SOLVED IN 48 HOURS. NOW IT IS MORE THAN 72 HOURS AND NO REPLY, NO ACTION, NO CALLS.
