Interesting show. Review on Big Fight

Rajdeep Sardesai's presentation Big Fight is an interesting show in NDTV 24X7. A current topic is chosen and three guests are invited- two of them are generally having opposing ideas and the third one is generally apolitical person and supposedly neither supports the other two. The idea behind the programme is excellent and some discussions are also really excellent when the persons who are invited really wants to take part in the discussion. But when someone like Uma Bharati is invited as a panelist, its really difficult to have meaningful discussions. People like her just don't accept views of other people and the ''Big fight'' really becomes a street fight and there is nothing intellectual about that.

In this type of discussion it is also important to have a good moderator. Rajdeep Sardesai is good but at times he seems to loose his neutral position. The audience is also involoved in this programme which I find very boring and partial at times- in fact Delhi never represents the country as a whole- and so their participation in this programme in often meaningless for the viewers. The kind of views they express when asking the questions is often very unreal and absurd.

My suggestion to NDTV would be to accept more questions from viewers by e-mail and letters for this programme.
