This review is about the Big Bazar branch near Hebbal on Outer Ring Road, this is just before the Hebbal flyover and lake (on the NEW airport road!), you have to go from the flyover towards BEL Circle on the ring road
This is one of the biggest Big Bazar branch in Bangalore, probably almost as big as the one on Kathriguppe.
I used to hate shopping, but after this Big Bazar opened (near to my house), I simply love to go shopping.
The ambience is good, decor is great, but the biggest plus point is the range of items you get. On ground floor, you get household items, cutlery, etc along with books, school accessories, mobiles, jewels and medicines. There is one floor for clothes, one for kids clothes and toys and furniture and one floor is for food bazar and daily use items. This floor has two counters, one manned by Coffee day (no so good, they dont even give a bill) and the other has an assortment of sweets, baked items, etc. The top floor is for electronic items.
You can very easily spend 1-2 hours here, even if you dont shop extensively. But if you are going for your monthly shopping, come here without fail. You can have a good time shopping and it is an outing for the family, especially kids!
The staff are courteous and helpful and above all there are plenty of billing counters and things move fast, no waiting in bug queues.
The major problem however is parking, basement parking is always full and since it is located on the service road parking on the small road is very difficult as vehicles move both directions. Especially on weekends, it is a mad rush. There is a big ground on the opposite side exlcusively for Big Bazar, but the road is bad, full of mud and stones. If they can clean up this space, then things will be great.
