Had been to big bazaar, rajajinagar on diwali eve to purchase a washing machine with dryer(LG direct-drive).mrp was around 38990 offer price was 34990.for a purchase above 30000 a gift(sensei digital photo viewer).after the demo of the product when we asked the sales for a further discount were surprised when he agreed to give a further discount of 3990.we could get the wm for 30990.we asked him for the bill, was asked to pay in the counter with a confirmation for the amt. but at the counter the manager said the wm was not in stock, when asked as to when he could deliver said LG has stopped this particular model.when pointed out that it was a new product, He started saying it could be delivered but would take around 2 months!!when we started arguing, a huge crowd had gathered by then he realised it was a mistake the the salesman had agreed for that price.he requested us to take delivery of the demo piece to which we accepted in the condition that he deliver it imm(it was already around 10.30 pm no apology from the manager/sales.we had been there for around 3 hrs.later after a lot of calls we got the free gift after 2 months which got burnt in the showroom itself while checking.till date not received the gift.only saving grace was the wm is an excellent product.
We were to opt for Samsung but because the sales guy insisted on LG.because of the direct drive feature, sound when in use is very negligible.
