The wait finally ended and I finally got to see the movie that people were talking about for nearly a year..We got the tickets after labouring for couple of hours in the queue..At last a guy sold us the ticket in black for an atrocious price. We went in and the lights went out and my friend told me ''Why do I have this feeling that this movie is going to let us down?..I had no idea what so ever how the movie was going to be..I told him to shut up and watch the movie..Little did I know that the movie was not worth all the pain that I took to catch the movie.

The story is about a couple Vishal(Ajay Devgan) and Swathi(Urmila) who are in search of a house and then they get the house of their dreams in a suburb of Bombay..The house is beautiful and big but it holds a dark past..There has been a suicide in the past..A girl Manjit has jumped from the and death always leaves a shadow..All is going fine when Urmila unearths a weird doll from the apartment and all goes wrong..Urmila starts getting visions about a strange girl and a small kid often in the apartment..Ajay thinks she is hallucinating and she is suffering from severe depression..A psychiatrist comes and says she is suffering from MPD.But suddenly the wathcman of the apartment is killed in a rather weird and brutal manner. In comes inspector Liyaqat Kureshi(Nana Patekar). He is the one who provides the comic relief to the movie which otherwise has a very dark mood and is songless. But Rekha comes along and diagonoses ''Bhootophobia'' (or that a Bhoot resides in her body)..SO who is this BHoot??and why is she tormenting Urmila??Will URmila be able to overcome this??

Ajay Devgan is tailor made for the role of a worried husband..He sports a new look in the movie in the frenchie..Rekha does a decent job.Nana Patekar is excellent with no shouting and no power punched dialogues..Only a few dialogues but he is very effective..But Urmila steals the show with her awesome acting..Ramgopal Verma gets the best out of her..It is Urmila's movie all the way..

Direction is OK..The first half moves at a brisk pace but he has lost it in the second half..The viewer loses his interests in the second half.i mean emotionally blackmailing a ghost??gimme a break..Background score is excellent..No songs but neverthless the effects are superb..You get a shock suddenly at scenes when you least expect them..

On the whole the movie is watchable.Skip it if possible and catch it on a VCD..
