I’ve seen a Ghost .. Its my story !!!. Review on Bhoot

I am an equity dealer , in stock markets working for a reputed Broking firm. Its monsoon in Mumbai and its pouring heavily , me and my broker are looking out for a suitable apartment to live in. Looking around my broker shows me a house , although hesitantly. The house is impressive , a duplex .. but the broker seems to be fidgety and he confides in me … that recently the previous occupant had committed suicide by jumping off the building , the flat being on the 12th floor. I do not believe in the supernatural and I go ahead and buy the flat. Hey I forgot … I am married to this beautiful woman in my life whom I love a lot. I did not feel it necessary to mention about this incident to her and we move in …

The first day is great … it pours heavily outside as we hold each others hands , gazing into her lovely eyes in this beautiful house .. seems like paradise. I introduce her to the neighbor who mentions the incident of Ms M who plummeted down the apartment. My wife is hysterical at me for hiding this fact , I try and defend myself and there is a minor tussle between the two and finally as all lovers do …we patch up. I hold her close to me ,calming her down .

I am fast asleep and I hear a scream … I wake up … to find her not by my side and as I rush down I hear some utensils falling in the kitchen. I rush down to see my lovely wife completely startled and scared , we rush to the kitchen to find no one. She swears she has seen a Ghost … I calm her down as its probably just her imagination after she knew the fact about the place.

She is acting quite funny nowadays , she gets moody , scared , seeing people around whom I never see. I wonder what’s gotten into her … One day I wake up in the middle of the night to see her missing by my side … as I rush down to search … I see something … I am shocked , startled , speechless.. I come back … a bundle of nerves.

I take my wife to a Psychiatrist as she need some help , there is this Inspector who keeps bothering me … holding his badge and mentioning his name like a Kindergarten Kid. The maid in my house tells me to refer my wife’s case to a Psychic …. I am tensed , I am nervous , what’s happened to my beautiful wife , why is she behaving so... What will the Psychic do … My friendly neighbor offers to help .. but lets see what transpires … Ms M ‘s mother .. now what’s she going to do about all this …

Performances

My friend Ramgopal varma decided to make a movie off this story of mine and has he done a marvelous job, He has changed the face of Indian cinema. The climax could have been spruced up but then hey ...no one’s Perfect. And would you believe it, except for a trickle of blood in a scene … there’s no bloodshed and I swear each of you would twitch in your seats every now and then. His team of Cameraman , Background score, sounds are marvelous and are what makes this movie of mine so real .

My performance as usual is top rate, you know I never go over the top and leave my eyes to do the talking. My wife is a revelation though , her performance is astounding … I never thought she could act so well …All the other characters have shined in their respective roles … and I wish like seeing this movie again and again and get … SCARED !!!
